Week 3- pre production

I have my script, characters, and most of my story board. Next is sound and backgrounds that all souled be done by the weekend. So sometime maybe Friday I will be able to start my first scene. So far I haven't run into any big set backs except for time. but there is one big issue I am having and that has to do with the copywriters to the animation I just need some clarity on who owns the characters and story, I already know the film is owned by the school.

Short animation premise

So there is going to be this hot dog man "Weenie the Eliminator" and he is on this strange adventure. The animation opens with Weenie climbing a mountain. At the top of this mountain he runs across Eggmon the destroyer (a egg) the twelfth member of the Deadly Dozen. Eggmon has killed Weenies friend Fly Son (a talking fly). The film ends with a epic battle between Weenie and Eggmon.

This is not my best work but it did make it into Animation Magazine and it was the only thing I could find on the web. This was a project for my pre-production class we had to design a poster for our senior film.

I’m Jeff Di Maggio. I was born in New York but have lived in the middle of nowhere Georgia for about 14 years. I’m an animator (dah) mostly focusing in 2-D but can use Maya if you put a gun to my head. I am in this Flash class because I hope to have a career using Flash.

My favorite animations are....Rocky and Bullwinkle, Mission hill, Clone high, Samurai Jack, Invader Zim, Pirates of Dark Water, Squidbillies, Metalocalypse, Super Jail (which better get picked up for a series!) Fosters, Chowder, Flapjack and lots of others. I especially love limited animation.

I am sick, twisted, perverse, warped, strange, demented and perverted all that comes out in my work. When people genuinely laugh at my work I feel like I’ve done my job well.

Despite being so messed up in the head I give off the illusion of a regular guy, this is just to blend in with the normies.
